Overnight Israeli attacks in southern Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 15 people, including six children and two women, according to Palestinian medical officials. This escalation follows an attack led by Hamas militants on Israel a year ago, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 individuals, predominantly civilians. During that attack, approximately 250 others were abducted, with Hamas currently holding around 100 people hostage in Gaza.

On Tuesday morning, Nasser Hospital confirmed that an airstrike in the southern city of Beni Suhaila targeted a home, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 members of the same family, including three children and one woman. Additionally, in a nearby city, Fakhari, another airstrike claimed the lives of five individuals, including three children and one woman.
These continued attacks and the ongoing war have created a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, exacerbating an already dire situation and threatening stability throughout the region. The international community must take immediate and effective action to address this crisis, ensuring the protection of innocent civilians and working towards restoring peace.
