Bengaluru – A gruesome discovery was made in a flat in Bengaluru, where the body of 29-year-old Mahalakshmi was found dismembered into 30 pieces. Mahalakshmi, who was reportedly living separately from her husband, was said to be involved with a man named Ashraf, a resident of Uttarakhand who worked at a barbershop in the Nelamangala area of Bengaluru.
Mahalakshmi's husband, Hemant Das, informed the media that she had come to visit their daughter last month but had been living with Ashraf for some time. Hemant mentioned that Mahalakshmi and Ashraf had filed complaints against him, prompting him to refrain from visiting Bengaluru.
The incident came to light when neighbors reported a foul odor emanating from the flat, leading the police to break down the door. The scene inside was horrifying, with Mahalakshmi's remains scattered throughout the apartment. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, while images of the incident have gone viral on social media, although their graphic nature has prevented public dissemination.
