7 Police Teams, 500 Cameras: How Noida Cops Located Missing Boys

In a swift and coordinated effort, Noida police successfully tracked down two missing boys after they fled their school out of fear. Aryan Chaurasia and Nitin Dhyan, students at Uttarakhand Public School in Sector-56, ran away after receiving poor grades and fearing parental reprimand.

The incident unfolded on Thursday when the boys’ class teacher informed them of their low marks on an internal exam. The teacher requested that they have their test sheets signed by their parents and return the next day. Concerned about facing consequences for their academic performance, Aryan and Nitin decided to leave school early and went missing after the school day ended.

When the boys did not return home, their worried parents reported them as missing to the police. A missing person report was filed, and a comprehensive search operation was launched.

Police formed seven teams and meticulously reviewed footage from over 500 CCTV cameras installed around the school and nearby areas. The investigation revealed sightings of the boys at the school gate and near Modi Mall in Sector 25.

With both plainclothes and uniformed officers involved in the search, the police successfully located Aryan and Nitin in Anand Vihar, Delhi, approximately 40 kilometers from Noida.

The boys’ parents expressed their gratitude to the police teams for their efforts. Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh personally counseled the children and their families, emphasizing the importance of communication and addressing fears constructively.
