Bhopal: A tragic incident has occurred in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The body of a missing girl was found in a building in the Shahjahanabad area. The innocent child’s body was discovered in a water tank within the same building.
It is reported that the 5-year-old girl went missing on Tuesday after leaving her home to go to a shop. She never returned, and the police registered a case of kidnapping. The police administration deployed a significant force, including drones and dog squads, to search for the girl, but to no avail.
The discovery of the girl’s body has cast a pall of grief over the area. Family members and local residents are angry with the police, accusing them of negligence. Enraged residents have created a disturbance and even reportedly pelted stones at the police.
The girl, who lived in a multi-story building in Bajpeyi Nagar, Shahjahanabad, went missing around noon on Tuesday. Her body was found in a water tank in Block Number 1 of the same building. Local residents claim that they had asked the police to investigate a locked flat, but their requests were ignored.
The police had registered a case of kidnapping and had taken some municipal employees into custody for questioning, as they were conducting fogging in the building at the time the girl went missing.
This incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of children and the effectiveness of police investigations in the area.
