The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that banks will be closed for a total of 15 days in October 2024, including public and regional observances such as Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. In addition, banks will remain closed on Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
