Man Arrested for Threatening to Bomb Ram Temple in Ayodhya

The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested Maqsood Ansari from Khanjarpur locality under Barari Police Station in Bhagalpur for allegedly threatening to bomb the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. According to the UP Police, Ansari is linked to the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. The threatening audio message was circulated from his mobile phone, and he had been on the police radar ever since. Additionally, it is reported that he had also threatened to assassinate Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath using the same mobile device. The arrest was confirmed by Bhagalpur City SP Raj.

Upon his arrest, the police seized four mobile phones from Ansari. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrived in plain clothes in an Innova vehicle on Friday to carry out the operation. Ansari was presented for transit remand on Friday, but due to complaints of illness, the court sent him to a hospital for medical treatment. On Saturday, UP Police took him to Ayodhya, where they will conduct a thorough interrogation.
