Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his “abject failure” in addressing the ongoing ethnic violence in Manipur. Kharge expressed frustration on X, questioning why Modi has not taken effective steps to end the violence that has intensified since May of the previous year, with recent attacks involving drones and rockets. The violence has recently claimed the life of a former soldier who accidentally crossed into a conflict zone.
