The Congress party lauded Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on Saturday, calling it a significant morale booster and a historic mass movement that united society from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. On the second anniversary of the journey’s commencement, Rahul Gandhi highlighted that the yatra demonstrated the inherent love of the Indian people and aimed to spread this love across every corner of the country. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge noted that the yatra, which covered an extensive distance on foot, has sparked an unprecedented awareness of love, harmony, and brotherhood among millions. He urged citizens to continue the struggle to uphold the Constitution and democracy, addressing issues like economic inequality, inflation, unemployment, social injustice, and the centralization of power. Kharge emphasized the need to safeguard the values of justice, freedom, equality, and fraternity while resisting agendas of hate and division. Rahul Gandhi shared a video of the journey on social media, reflecting on how the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ taught him the art of listening and focusing on the enthusiastic crowds and participants.
